Note Content Turned into Gibberish

One time I opened a note, and before my eyes, everything turned into gibberish. I've got a backup, so it's OK, but the note in the app is gone.

For what it's worth, most of the content was written in Japanese, so that might have had something to do with it. Perhaps an encoding problem in which the app tried to go for UTF 8 or something when it was actually some other encoding. I don't know. Just a guess.
