It would be a nice touch and useful to have that kind of switch on the bottom right (customized for afwall ofc)

Well I was thinking a green with the logo and when you activate it goes red not as a plus button.

That would be really nice ! What about a profile switch on press for the "placeholder" (everytime you press it goes to the next profile) ?

Instead of my first suggestion you could add a navigation drawer with start/stop and with the list of profiles in it and other options from the current menu

A FAB wouldn't look good or relevant, it would be better to use a toggle on the top bar, but that just wouldn't fit between other buttons.

I agree with the drawer idea.
