Bug Description

Games will load a few menus, but as soon as 3D models are loaded, my GPU freezes up and my whole system crashes, requiring a reboot. This happens with the correct Xbox system files, and with/without internal resolution scaling. It seems it could also have something to do with the mouse UI, too? Seems to last longer and load some 3D scenes better when the menu bar is hidden.

This bug does NOT affect the AppImage release. Likely, there is some dependency that is problematic in the Flatpak release.

Expected Behavior

Xemu should run the games.

xemu Version

Latest Flatpak

System Information

OS: Fedora 38 Workstation
Desktop: GNOME 44.1 on Wayland
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

Additional Context

I noticed in Flatseal that the program did not have GPU Acceleration nor did it have Wayland access. Even after enabling these two options, it did not work properly. Conker's BFD immediatelu locks up my GPU and crashes my desktop, other games with FMV intros like Halo CE and Halo 2 loaded for a while before crashing. I saw the 3D menu screen run for a few seconds before GPU crashing in Jet Set Radio. My CPU ramps up right before the whole system goes down.

When I disabled the option under Display>Interface>Show main menu bar, I can now load games without issue. For some reason, this option seems to be causing the crash. How weird...

Edit: It actually seems to be fixed in the latest version: 0.7.92

I will update this if I can ever reproduce this bug...
