Is Your Feature Request Related to a Problem?

No response

Feature Description

I have a kobo elipsa, unfortunately it uses MyScript propretary .nebo format for the handwriting. Xournal++ is the only software that I know that can integrate support for .nebo files. I tried to look at the file and seems like an archive with various xml files for the settings and some database-like file I think for the pan stroke. I do not knwo if this is feasible but asking is free, I can give support giving test nebo file without problem.

Haven't heard about Nebo before, so I would assume that your feature request doesn't have lots of other interested users. Nevertheless, if you provide some test .nebo files we can take a look at it and estimate how much work it would be to support the file format (maybe via a plugin for importing from and/or exporting to .nebo).

Integration with e-readers would be huge.

Kobo e-readers seem to be based on Linux and users are modifying them. Read more here.

The .nebo file created with My Notebooks feature of default firmware seems to look like this:

test
├── index.bdom
├── meta.json
├── pages
│   └── < 8 letter id >
│       ├── ink.bink
│       ├── meta.json
│       ├── page.bdom
│       └── style.css
└── rel.json

Where .bdom files and ink.bink seem to be conected with MyScript. Would not be surprised if they are in binary format.
