Copying over some ideas from #13:

• Blog post including the scipy 2019 zarr talk, optionally with any other commentary or links to other relevant scipy material (there's a PR for this already WIP: Zarr @ SciPy 2019 Blog Post #11)
• Zarr-python 2.4 release
• Update on the CZI EOSS plans, and/or about the EOSS kick-off
• Highlight the cool and unanticipated ways that people have been hacking around with zarr lately (I [@alimanfoo] really like emphasizing the hackability of zarr, communicating that that is a central design goal is a nice thing IMHO)
• Announcing our new governing model and how contributions work going forward

Other should totally feel free to add to ideas to this list : )
