With "Use custom startpage" enabled, and opening a new tab, the URL bar contains this string:

moz-extension://fa8f971d-4341-44aa-97f4-e9f81d73fbe4/startpage.html

This is a bug for me as I use the URL bar for all my searches - I press CTRL-T for a new tab, and start typing, press enter, and this works well. Now with the "moz-extension:..." text in the url bar, my searches have text in them that I don't want - I can delete that text, but this is a pain - I want an empty URL bar for searching, please :)

So for the moment I disable the custom startpage, although I do like it as a feature otherwise...

Thank you for the great plugin - really like the sidebar - it's like an extra bookmarks toolbar, which can be very useful.
