Tabify: IEEE Chrome Extension Project

This is a chrome extension that will help you organize your tabs, assignments, and more.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

What things you need to utilize this project and how to install them

NPM (v10.4.0 used) - https://nodejs.org/en/download/current
React (v18.3.1 used) - https://react.dev/learn/installation
Visual Studio Code (v1.18.6 used) - https://code.visualstudio.com/download

Installing

A step by step series of examples that tell you how to get a development env running:

Clone the project (or download it):

git clone https://github.com/Aibaww/IEEE24-Frontend.git

Open the root directory in Visual Studio Code

Run the following command in root folder

npm install

To run the project

  1. Run npm start
  2. Open chrome://extensions/
  3. Enter developer mode
  4. Load unpacked and choose the build folder
  5. YIPPEE!
