2. Getting Started

Run the management command as follows in order to launch the application using local configurations.

$ cd myshop
$ ./manage.py runserver --settings=myshop.settings.local

OR (using uWSGI)

uwsgi --http :8000 --home /home/shadowfox/envs/shopEnv  --module=myshop.wsgi --env=DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE=myshop.settings.local

The options are:

• http: Option(PORT) for accepting and routing HTTP requests
• home: Path to the virtual environment
• module: The WSGI module to use
• env: The django project settings file to use
