I was attempting to manually install the updated version of the package because the PyPI version hasn't been updated in a year and was running into errors. It looks like the line
packages=setuptools.find_packages()was removed fromsetup.pyat some point. Adding it back in solved the issue. I also moved the version number up from what is uploaded to PyPI currently and matched them in the two locations I saw
