SpineOMatic is a Windows application that prints spine labels, flag slips or other custom labels for items in Ex Libris’ Alma system. It runs under Windows 10, Windows 7, Vista or Windows XP. It requires the .Net framework version 4.8 or higher to be present on the client machine.

SpineOMatic uses an item’s barcode number to retrieve an XML file from Alma, which contains data that can be used to create many kinds of labels. XML files can be retrieved using the RESTful” API method which require that you obtain a special API key from Ex Libris’ Developer’s Network. Check with Ex Libris to get the details.
