Optimizing the time of engineers which work on selecting equipment for electric motor drives is the main objective of this work. Using NodeJS platform, a web application is formulated which collects data concerning low-voltage network (operating voltage and rated breaking capacity), motor power, type of circuit diagrams and driven load, from all motors of a new project. Using an algorithm, it provides the complete list of components required to drives circuit, project and additionally, information in a report. The results shown turned possible to provide the developed tool online to engineers and technology students.
