Reels Blog is a ruby on rails project to build a fully functional web app/website that shows a list of posts about movies and empowers readers to interact with them by adding comments and liking posts.
- Functioning database
- CRUD Operations
- Ruby on Rails:
Requires PostgreSQL and RoR(Ruby on Rails)
-Set the username and password in the database.yml
file
-Run $ rails server
to confirm it works
-Run $ rails db:migrate
to create the database tables
-Run and use $ rails console
to run CRUD methods & queries
To run tests:
-On initial run, migrate to the test database rails db:migrate RAILS_ENV=test
-For consecutive tests, run rspec -f doc
Clone this repository to your desired folder:
cd my-folder
git clone https://github.com/Thoth1111/Reels_Blog.git
Thats it now you can execute your program on terminal:)
