A Google script to fetch the data from Yahoo! Finance. Contains around 7826 tickers from NASDAQ, NYSE and AMEX.
- Make a copy of the initial spreadsheet @ https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gIX__2eCCCM10rK1doVeYrtbc1QKJU1yS0glg4IjWxo/edit?usp=sharing. This is required because the public sheet that I have provided doesn't have write access which you will need.
- Create a new Google Script for that sheet, and paste the content of the stockScreener.gs
- If Google asks for a permission to run the script, you might have to create a new GCP project and include it in that script.
- Due to the limitation of the maximum execution time of Google Script, it is advised to set a time-driven trigger for the script for every 1 minute (don't worry, the script has caching to prevent it from being executed simultaneously)
- It takes around 2-3 hours for the script to fetch the data for all tickers.
Sometimes the API doesn't return proper data, so be sure to double check with the other sources!
