How to describe this release ? In short, let us say that it is a new version.

See the previous release for installation instructions for Mac OS (Apple).

A desktop version of the editor (based on electron), with easy latex integration.
The .deb installs the application coreact-yade.
Here is an example on how to use it on MacOS, after installation: run /Applications/YADE.app/Contents/MacOS/YADE example.tex in a terminal, and in an existing file example.tex, add a line % YADE DIAGRAM. The editor will open an empty diagram and after saving, it will insert the corresponding LaTeX export of the diagram just after this line. To edit the diagram, remove the generated lines (in particular, the line % GENERATED LATEX).

You may need to run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/YADE.app/ on MacOS if you get a damaged app error (I don't know how to properly fix this error).

Cf the tools/README.md or use the help option -h for more information (exported tex and diagram can be saved in external files, and other extensions are supported: .lyx and .md).
