If a MidHCV sample doesn't match the naming convention to pair up with its whole-genome partner, it doesn't get uploaded to Kive. The most common example is NEG-1-HCV and NEG-2-MidHCV, but there are also a lot of older samples that use the "WG" suffix for the whole-genome sample. The whole 25-May-2015.M01841 run has nothing but MidHCV samples, so it got ignored by the 7.9 pipeline.

  • If a MidHCV sample doesn't find a match, process it on its own.
  • Look for the "WG" suffix, if you don't find an HCV match.
