FYI: @andysham @jaimergp The issue we're seeing in the tests seems to be related to Python 3.8.17. I have looked through conda-forge and anaconda changes as well as the diff between CPython 3.8.16 and 3.8.17 and I cannot find a difference. For now, I would propose to pin to Python 3.8.16 in the tests. As EOL for it is in a year's time, we probably cannot drop 3.8 completely but I also don't see a way to fix this. |

Either that or xfail the failing test just for that Python x OS combination, your call! I'm fine with both. |
