When using elasticsearch-metrics-reporter-java, by default the index will contain the date, e.g. metrics-2014-04.

Is it possible to reflect this in Kibana somehow, so that the dashboard's default index field will also stay on the current month in this case? Otherwise the Kibana dashboard will break/need reconf at the end of the month.

See the index and timepicker tabs of the dashboard configuration to configure timestamped indices.
