I would love to have multiple tabs open in the Discover app to assist when I need to switch between searching multiple indices. This can be accomplished today by using the tabs in your browser but having the tabs inside the discover app would be better.

Could you elaborate on the benefits of tabs in app vs tabs of the browser?

I would re-open this.
Let's say you open Discover, and searched a specific ERROR log in a specific service. You found it and it contains a transaction ID. You want to keep that log you just found, and conduct a new search, this time on all services, with this transaction ID. Currently I open another tab in my browser, and do the search there.
It could be pretty useful, to be able to click "+" somewhere in the upper part of the screen and have another tab for Discover and run my 2nd search there.

Couldn't you just right click the "View Single Doc" link and open that in a new tab and then continue searching in the original tab?

I'm still not sure I understand the advantage over opening a new browser tab, can you elaborate? IMO implementing a custom tab system is almost always a mistake, but if there are workflows that are currently more difficult than they should be perhaps we can solve those issues in other ways.
