Oh ! Wow, why don't you use a more recent version of the JVM like the 1.8 ? |

Upgraded to Java 8, made no difference, URLs are still be generated with bad encoded characters. |

Resolved, there was another index with a conflicting field, removed offending field and recreated the kibana index. |

RHEL 7.3, Java 1.6.0_39, Kibana 4.5.1, ES 2.3.1
After installing via package or RPM my Kibana Visualization and Dashboard tabs produce nothing. Looking at the URL's that are being generated it would appear that maybe these are the issues, sample link:
http://chi-kbna01:5601/app/kibana#/discover?_g=(refreshInterval%3A(display%3AOff%2Cpause%3A!f%2Cvalue%3A0)%2Ctime%3A(from%3Anow-15m%2Cmode%3Aquick%2Cto%3Anow))
This appears like an encoding issue but I am not sure if its Kibana or the OS settings.
