How to use the same %s token twice in a message

For something like this:
message: "Avoid the use of '%s' on weekdays."

Is it possible to refer to the same token (the same "%s") twice in the message? E.g.,

message: "Avoid the use of '%s' on weekdays. Only use '%s' on weekends."

Obviously enough that doesn't work (I tried it). How can I do this?

Good old guesswork :)

I had a look at a few other styles, rules, etc., and thought "what if I try this?" and it worked.
