Pre-release

Includes the improvements in the main Reshade repository as well as a few additional fixes:

  • effects in the headset now reflect config changes made in the UI immediately
  • don't apply effects to the window (unless the UI is open) to not waste GPU performance

This ZIP includes a basic ready-to-go Reshade preset for VR games, aimed at Valve Index users. It includes a sharpening filter as well as basic color adjustment options (brightness, contrast, saturation) with default values chosen to combat washed out and blurry visuals in games with the Index. You can of course adjust these values or assemble your own preset to use with this build :)

Installation & usage instructions included in the README in the archive.

Pre-release

A very early alpha version of OpenVR support for Reshade. Currently only supports D3D11 games. Not feature-complete, potentially unstable. Use at your own risk.

Instructions:

  • Download the official installer from the Reshade homepage
  • Use it to install Reshade to the game of your choice, with the set of shaders you want (choose DirectX 11 as the graphics API)
  • Replace the dxgi.dll that the installer placed near your game's executable with the one from the archive attached below
  • Start the game, use the Reshade UI to configure the effects you want to use
  • You must then restart the game for the effects to actually be applied to your VR headset!

Note:
For some unknown reason, the CAS sharpener included with the Reshade SweetFX pack produces awful results in VR. Use this shader instead: https://gist.github.com/martymcmodding/30304c4bffa6e2bd2eb59ff8bb09d135
