funquiz is MEAN stack application to quiz about friends and family
This simple application written in various technologies like node.js, express.js, mongo DB, typescript, Angular and docker. This project follows the seperation of concerns principle.
Using this application, one can create quiz above him/her self from the list of questions. Once he/she creates the quiz, the user can share the quiz to friends or family using socialmedia like whataspp, facebook.
Once the users friend opens the shared link, he/she enters his/her name and starts answering the quiz. At end of the quiz friend comes to know about how he knew about his friends like likes, dislikes, interts.
At any time user opens the link, instead of creating the quiz, he/she will sees the quiz results from the list of friends.
we are using the cookies to decide whether to show the page to create the quiz, or results or answering of someother friends quiz.
This is project is not pushed to deployement.Howerver it works locally. To run this app locally, make sure to run the mongodb. To run mongob use the below command.
mongod --dbpath ./data/
To compile the expree.js server code we should use the below command.
npm run start
To build and run the angular code, we should use the below command.
$(npm bin)/ng build $(npm bin)/ng serve
