This functionality has been released in v5.55.0 of the Terraform AWS Provider. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading. Description
Clarifies documentation which makes it sound as if this is only for EKS clusters running EOL versions of Kubernetes. This is now guaranteed to be available for all EKS clusters, running any available Kubernetes version.
