The new release contains code for utilizing the Spinnaker SDK, for FLIR (formerly Point Grey) cameras. This release includes an AppImage Linux binary as well as a Windows binary in a zip file, for the webcam version of the software, which is unchanged from the previous release. Both binaries are for the 64 bit x86 architecture. This binary AppImage can be downloaded, made executable by chmod +x, and run. This release's AppImage was created on Travis CI trusty, is tested and found to be running on Linux Mint 18.1, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Fedora 27, OpenSuse Leap 15 and Fedora 24. It is likely to work with later distro versions as well.

This release includes an AppImage Linux binary as well as the Windows binary in the zip file. Both binaries are for the 64 bit x86 architecture. This binary AppImage can be downloaded, made executable by chmod +x, and run. The ini file can be in the same directory as the AppImage. This first release AppImage is tested and found to be running on Linux Mint 18.1, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Fedora 24. Newer distros are likely to have problems with this AppImage due to bundling of excess number of libraries, and hence compiling from source is recommended. The next release will solve this issue.
