My Maps displays a list of maps, each of which show user-defined markers with a title, description, and location. The user can also create a new map.
Time spent: 9 hours spent in total
The following required functionality is completed:
- The list of map titles is displayed.
- After tapping on a map title, the associated markers in the map are shown.
- The user is able to create a new map.
The following extensions are implemented:
- Attempted: When a map marker is created, the pin is animated.
- List anything else that you did to improve the app functionality or design!
- Used different theme and colors
- Attempted: Add a menu option in the map activity to change the map type (e.g. normal vs terrain)

Describe any challenges encountered while building the app. Run into various errors in attempting to implement the extensions. Could not add a button on top of map view without the app crashing. Could not build or run the program due to activitymapsbinding errors while implementing the animation for the pin. App still crashes despite various attempts to fix the issue. Also extremely busy weeks due to papers, midterms, clubs, and work.
