There is no difference in the functionality except some cleanup to
avoid using system() and more secure compile and link options.
Some of those option need dynamically linked utility to show their
effectiveness. Hence the dptfxtract utility is dynamically linked.
But statically linked utility is also provided "dptfxtract-static".
