Figure/plot file format and quality

In EBM there is only one option to download plot as PNG format. How can I download in other formats? How can I improve resolution (dpi) of the plots? Because when I am adding it in word file report, the quality is degraded.

Please suggest working solutions. If possible, make some improvement in the package.

Hi Kaushik, Apologies for the brevity, I’m on my phone. You can use the .visualize() function to extract the plotly image of a specific graph out of the explanation objects (eg ebm_global.visualize(0) gets the plotly figure for the overall feature importance). You can then use the ‘kaleido’ library (pip install kaleido) from Plotly to save the image with custom dpi, resolution, height/width, etc. Should be something like: ebm_global = ebm.explain_global() plot_fig = ebm_global.visualize(0) plot_fig.write_image(…) I’d check the plotly write_fig and kaleido docs.
