I did the most recent update today 0.9.6 and now OP says Car unrecognized. This is a 2019 grand Cherokee with a comma 3.

You running beta or release. WP? What options are turned on.

Release, no panda.

I believe all my toggles are stock/default

Make sure the speed spoof is off. Maybe it was turned on somehow.

It is off. I went through all the settings to see if something looked off, and it all looks totally normal.

Ok, for whatever reason, it wouldn’t take the beta or release url, so I put in the stock open pilot url and it downloaded just fine. But after installation, I still get far unrecognized. How does this get fixed? I’ve got a 30 hour road trip coming up this weekend and this would SUCK to not have.

So that's weird. Check all your cables. Something else is going on.

Could it just be the new version that’s causing the issue?

Install this one bit.ly/jvePilot-beta then check for update and select a different branch like upgrade/0.9.5 if that works you will have to do a pull request for openpilot because all forks pull from them.

Something is wrong. Did you hard reset it? Keep tapping on comma logo after restart.

Are you in discord asking the, support channel. Think your device is having an issue. Or do you think it's your Wi-Fi?

Not my wifi---I'm a network engineer...

Holy crap, I got it to take! The only thing I changed was the p in Pilot was not capitalized. I had no idea that would be case sensitive....

Now I'm going to go back down to my car to see if it'll recognize it...

You need to report this on the comma GitHub or it will never get fixed.

@Miniz199922 thanks for helping out here!

@dperk11 Comma has switched to a new fingerprinting method for our vehicles and it's missing some Jeep codes. If you don't get your codes into the main branch, your Jeep will be left behind. Here is a tutorial: https://github.com/commaai/openpilot/wiki/Fingerprinting

@dperk11 I agree. I should be able to help when I'm back from my work trip. DM me on discord.
