Unexpected behavior of cw

• Terminal program: iTerm 3.4.15
• Operating system: macOS 12.1
• ZSH framework: zinit
• ZSH version: zsh 5.8 (x86_64-apple-darwin21.0)

Basic examination

• I have read through the README page
• I have the latest version of zsh-vi-mode
• I have tested with another terminal program

Problem description

cw will delete two words instead of one
when the first word contains only single character

Reproduction steps

1. 1 2 3 4 5
   

2. type cw

3. the buffer becomes 3 4 5
   

Expected behavior

should be 2 3 4 5 instead
