To try out this project:
- Clone the GitHub repository locally to your computer
- In the command line, type the following: $ npm install nodemon
- Start the server by typing the following: $ npm run dev
- Allow users to search for and browse available packages with price, destination, and tour inclusion.
- Provide detailed information about each package, including itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, and terms and conditions.
- Allow users to read reviews from other travelers who have booked the same package to help them make informed decisions.
- A booking form that allows users to select the package they want to book, enter their user id and receive an email to confirm the booking.
- A dashboard or account area for users to view and manage their bookings, update their personal information, and provide feedback on their tours.
- A back-end administration system that allows administrators or tour operators to manage bookings and add, update, and delete packages.
- Allow users to book and pay for packages online using a secure payment gateway.
- Offer customer support through live chat, email, or phone, to assist users with any questions or issues.
- Make the system accessible and convenient for mobile devices.
Project is: finished with option to expand functionality and DRY out code.
The inspiration for "Let's Go Travel & Tours" came from my personal love of traveling to new and exciting places. I often found myself spending a lot of time and money on trips without really knowing what to expect or where the best places to go were. I realized that there was a need for a system that could help travelers like myself plan and book there tours more easily and efficiently.
In addition to making travel planning easier, I also wanted to use "Let's Go Travel & Tours" as a way to promote tourism and help people discover the many different kinds of activities and attractions that are available in different destinations around the world. I believe that travel can be an enriching and transformative experience, and I wanted to create a system that could help more people have those kinds of experiences.
Overall, my goal with "Let's Go Travel & Tours" is to make travel planning simpler, more convenient, and more enjoyable for everyone.
