Hi @jcpunk. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes-sigs member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes/test-infra repository.

Will need to hold momentarily until we release v0.7.0 (which is expected to happen in the next few days).

Interesting, I just copied the userid from certificate config. Should they both be updated to 65532?

This would be unique to our admission-server image.

I'm not sure why the test are failing...

@jcpunk It failed due to yaml files check, and the error messages can be found here: https://prow.k8s.io/view/gs/kubernetes-jenkins/pr-logs/pull/kubernetes-sigs_gateway-api/2016/pull-gateway-api-verify/1658290219671097344#1:build-log.txt%3A492
