Currently if a collaboration session is active and the hosts shuts down their tool, the collaboration session is effectively ended. The downside of this is that accidental closing, needing to quickly reboot, even if or your battery runs out results in the host having to start a new collaboration session, get a new link, and then re-send that to the guests.

Instead, we could automatically restart the collaboration session if the host opens the same folder unless they specifically "end collaboration session".

Would this also ensure the same link is used once a session is restarted?

@pranaygp Yep! That would be one of the core benefits of this proposal 😁 That way, you wouldn’t need to share again and send a new link to folks, simply to continue a collaboration session that may have been unexpectedly interrupted for some reason.

I'm going to close this issue since we haven't heard any customer feedback on this behavior. We can always re-open it if we do 👍
