Currently using Mixxx 2.1.1.
Windows 8.1

When loading Itunes, Mixxx no longer loads the Itunes subfolder and playlist structure
just one giant folder called 'Downloaded' which contains all Itunes music unsorted so I would have to sort through the entire library to find one song.

I'm not sure if this is a Mixxx problem or Itunes problem as Itunes appears not to automatically create an XML file since version 12.2
The Itunes library file are now file type '.Itunes Music Player' as opposed to .xml

Many thanks

The issue is that there are thee "Downloaded" playlists.
Mixxx stops the import after the first duplicate. Do you have an Idea what these Playlists are, and Why you have three of them?
Should Mixxx ignore them? If not, do you have an idea how to distinguish them?

Is the "iTunes Subfolder" issue a separate bug? If yes, please file an other one.

During the test I have noticed that loading the Library took ages. I have filed bug #1785545 for this.

Not sure I understand - I have 100s of playlists and subfolders within Itunes. As far as I'm aware it's all one and the same bug - no Itunes subfolders and playlists within them, just one giant Itunes folder called Downloaded.

Did you try Mixxx 2.1.3
The issue schould be fixed there.

How is the performance?
There is also a pending PR waiting for review improving that.

Yay! Thank you very much. That worked in as much that I now have all my Itunes playlists however I believe (can't remember to be honest) that previously only the Itunes sub-folders would be present until you clicked the arrow beside on to reveal the playlists within - ie like the actual Itunes structure. This obviously helps to minimise just how much you have to scroll through - ie only the folders as opposed to all of the playlists. Would be great if this could be re-instated or developed for future versions.

It's workable as it is so I'm delighted with that.
Thank you again.

Pat
