hello! I'm Puppy! I'm a Python script that gives you recommended playlists based on your favorite artists, genres and sample songs on Spotify!
Puppy is so easy to use! Just load your Spotify API credentials from the .env file, enter your favorite artists, genres and sample songs, and Puppy will generate a playlist for you!
Puppy uses the Spotify API to find top tracks from artists you like, find similar songs based on sample songs, and retrieve top tracks from related artists. Combine these songs, remove duplicates and generate your new favorite playlist!
You can also easily set the length of your playlist. Just enter the number of songs you want and Puppy will add the number of songs you need. We pick only the most relevant songs to give you the best playlist!
Please use Puppy and enrich your music life!
1- Clone this repository
2- Install the required python packages
3- Set client ID, secret and redirect URI for Spotify API
4- Run with python pup.py
