Welcome to the Student Portal repository! This repository contains both the client and server applications for the Student Portal.

Clone or download the ZIP file of this repository to your local machine.
git clone https://github.com/pavankumart18/Student-Portal.git

Open a terminal window.

Navigate to the 'client' directory of the cloned/downloaded repository:
cd client

Install client dependencies using npm:
npm install

Start the client application:
npm start

The client application should now be running and accessible at http://localhost:3000 in your web browser.

Open another terminal window (or tab).

Navigate to the 'server' directory of the cloned/downloaded repository:
cd server

Install server dependencies using npm:
npm install

Start the server:
node app.js

The server should now be running and accessible at http://localhost:8000 in your web browser.
- Make sure you have Node.js and npm installed on your machine before running these commands.
- You may need to adjust the port numbers if they conflict with other services running on your machine.
- Ensure that the server is running before accessing the client application.
That's it! You're now ready to use the Student Portal locally on your machine.
