A python script to extract the Metadata of Microsoft Office documents. These information can be seen in the INFO tab of any microsoft office document. This script is handy when you have a lot of documents and the manual work will be exhausting. The script extracts the following info :
- Title
- Description
- Creator
- LastModifiedBy
- DateCreated
- DateModified
It can be easily modified to acquire other information.
It is handy for Exams were it can easily help in spotting cheaters , examples:
- Creator of the file is different from the Lastmodified
- Difference between DateCreated and DateModified is not logical for the time given for the exam.
- Creator of the different type of documents changes, even if it is the same student.
