Several notes:

• does MacOS on x86/32bit make sense ?
• how many versions of PyPy do we want to support ? Apparently we are testing PyPy 6.0 while 7.2 is now available.
• is there a reason why are only testing x86 interpreters on Windows ?

Apparently (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208436), 32-bit support has been deprecated for a while and completely dropped in latest Catalina version (october 2019).

This is a great idea.

I'd say we should probably also add a CTA that we'd love to have someone help us with our CI situation (e.g. making it faster, or making it more complete without slowing down CI times) -- linking to https://wiki.python.org/psf/Fundable%20Packaging%20Improvements#Robust_interoperability_testing.

(it might be worth asking someone on the Packaging-WG of the PSF, if they could add a dedicated section there, about this)

I think we should start tracking the latest PyPy release.

Windows CI is super slow already, so I'm very much weary of adding more time to it.

Good idea, I've added the same message and created #7279 to try to clarify our strategy.

I'll merge this one once the builds complete.
