While the polling fallback implementation of the notify crate still prevents the build from finishing on FreeBSD, that seems to be the last roadblock in the way of achieving full cross-platform compatibility now. |

The systemstat crate failed to compile under 32-bit MacOS and 32-bit FreeBSD, which is fixed by valpackett/systemstat#57 in the upcoming v0.1.5.
