Should allow users to install from GitHub without requiring /dist to be returned to source.

Notes:

doesn't work with yarn Lifecycle scripts for hosted git and local dependencies not run on install yarnpkg/yarn#5235
same implementation as vue-multiselect: Let npm build the package when installed from source / github master shentao/vue-multiselect#970.

Closes #908

Coverage remained the same at 95.794% when pulling 5d93521 on add-prepage-to-package into c6c8281 on master.
