plugins_nms.exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Cloud 21.2\plugins_nms.exe which gets stuck on sandboxie manager and can't be closed and pops up notifications every now and then when I execute "run web browser sandboxed"

Try to paste inside the [DefaultBox] section of your sandboxie.ini:

ClosedFilePath=*\plugins_nms.exe

or

ClosedFilePath=plugins_nms.exe,*

Source:
https://sandboxie-plus.github.io/sandboxie-docs/Content/ClosedFilePath.html

The browser is working better (Faster, loading without nearly as many crashes) and I am still getting some error messages like "cancelling process plugins_nms.exe" and somehow it still stays in the sandbox glitched and unable to be terminated

Edit: i try to manually close the dang process but it gives me access denied lol, it's one of those windows things..

Updated: This can be avoided if you disable antivirus self defense module. Not recommended of course but works as a temporary fix in order to terminate the sandbox

@DeityOfChaos

Today I installed Kaspersky Free and I can confirm the error messages related to plugins_nms.exe in Plus 0.7.2.
My workaround is to disable 'Kaspersky Protection' extension on the sandboxed Microsoft Edge:

Although it would be nice if this extension could be supported natively in Sandboxie without tricks.

what software does it belong to?

Kaspersky Security Cloud Free / Kaspersky Internet Security

If you still have this issue, you should probably open a support request through Kaspersky.
