Have brought all the dependencies up to date and added a check in the lib's gradle file to check for NDK before trying to create the .so files and falling back to use the provided ones otherwise.
Be great if someone could we could get a few people to test to ensure it builds correctly and is pulling in the .so files correctly.
Have also completed the circleci integration and now the basic tests will run each time we push a change :)
