I am a Data Scientist from India with 8+ years of experience in applied ML. Right now, I'm on a career break from my full-time job and working on a research project on the topic of Visualizing the Training Dynamics & Latent States of a Neural Network with a team of researchers from NYU.

• 📖 I studied Civil engineering in undergrad but my high school interest in mathematics trumped it and I found my footing in the field of AI/ML & CS and self-studied my way into it.

• 🔭 I've worked on building Personalization Systems, Search Engines, OCR systems and multiple NLP and forecasting/classical ML projects.

• 🌱 I'm interested in the area of ML interpretability & RL and have recently discovered the field of Mechanistic Interpretability so a lot of my side efforts are spent in learning more about the field. Earlier I contributed to couple of open source RL projects like Minari & ClearnRL as well.

• ⚡ In my free time, I like to read, work out, and learn about the Xs and Os of basketball. I'm quite interested in reading about my country's history (and the world's too for that matter), but won't say no to good fiction (bias towards sci-fi) or it can be any other new area which looks interesting. Calisthenics is my go to workout style presently and this year's goal is to have 5 clean reps of pull ups 🏋️ and pistol squats.
