Arcade and Mame Explained!
Arcade is there for you to do what you want with!
You can run a Mame 2003+ rom set there but will need to press X in the Games menu to change the core to Mame 2003+.
The A30 can handle FBNEO better than the Mini and Mini+ can. The FBNEO core is save state compatible and so we prefer it.
Many other games, like one of tenlevels favorites Demon Front, is supported on FBNEO and not on Mame 2003+.
The spruce team bigger fans of FBNEO so that is why FBNEO was chosen as the default Arcade core for spruce.
Spruce also has FBNEO and MAME 2003 Roms folders just in case people would like to keep them separated.
For example, Batsugun only runs with audio in FBNEO and not in MAME.
Other games can perform better in MAME.
Tenlevels absolutely loves Arcade games and leaves us with these words
