MedBot is a chatbot designed to promote the proper use of medicines. The application provides essential information on how different drugs interacts with each other as well as its contraindications, therefore preventing patients from harming themselves by combining drugs. It was developed for IBM Brasil Bluehack hackaton on August 19th and 20th, 2017.
The chatbot was developed with Node.js, Express, Angular and Bootstrap stack and hosted on Bluemix with continuous delivery pipeline. The application also integrates IBM Watson Conversation and Text to Speech services as cognitive solutions.
