This commit

  1. sets Windows installation instructions to the top instead of NixOS, since Windows it the mostly used OS comparing to marginally used NixOS. Majority of people will not waste time scrolling through excessively long list of Linux installation instructions.

  2. Make new sub-section for instructions that address not only dependencies, but also ZNC itself.

  3. rewriting one-liner general Linux command description and order. It was moved up because it is general Linux command and as such should have more exposure than the instructions aimed for an marginal Linux distro.

instructions aimed for an marginal Linux distro.

perhaps this isn't made quite clear in the instructions, but nix instructions are not aimed at a marginal distro: they can be used on pretty much any gnu/linux system and should work on mac os x as well. that said, apparently nobody uses them. but chances are, if there's any future for this project, nix build system will become main one

since Windows it the mostly used OS

these days i think it's android. also windows usage is radically lower among people who have interest in security/privacy

why didn't you base your script on top of startenv.sh, btw?
