New Behavior
Issues with an
awaiting answerlabel are being closed after 30d if no answer was provided by the original author. This is done using https://github.com/probot/no-response.Contrast to Current Behavior
Currently it's the job of the maintainers to do this.
Discussion: Benefits and Drawbacks
Rarely authors of issues don't respond to question their asked. After a while, such issues hide what's actually important. So we close them. This is now automated.
