Timestamps

When configured correctly, each chat message displayed in the chat area can be prefixed with a timestamp noting the time it was received.

Additionally, if TabbyChat is maintaining a record of your chat log on disk, timestamps will be prepended to all logged messages, regardless of whether or not timestamps are applied in-game. Both types of timestamps will adopt the style of the current timestamp configuration, and in-game timestamps can be displayed in a user-defined color.

The available timestamp styles are:

  • US Military time: [2359]
  • 24-Hour Clock: [23:59]
  • US/Canada Standard: [11:59]
  • US/Canada Standard w/ period: [11:59PM]
  • 24-Hour w/ seconds: [23:59:01]
  • US/Canada Standard w/ seconds: [11:59:01]
  • US/Canada Standard w/ seconds & period: [11:59:01AM]
